French Toast Sunday is made up of a collection of fantastic podcasters and writers from all across the globe. We are proud of the FTS community and would love for our readers to take a moment to get to know us a little better. Every month, we will highlight a new contributor with a brief questionnaire that will hopefully shine some light into the life of an FTSer. This month, we take a look into the world of Lindsay Street.

Q&A
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I don’t even know anymore! I’m generally up early by default (thanks JOB) but I’m not exactly enjoying myself until I’ve had a full cup of coffee. And I would prefer to stay up late but I usually fall asleep earlier than I would like to on weekends because I barely sleep during the week.
Are you a planner? Or are you spontaneous?
I plan everything. My to-do lists have to-do lists.
What motivates you?
Lots of things – myself, my partner, inspiring stories, attractive design, The Social Network soundtrack.
What’s your favorite:
food? If I had to pick one food to eat for the rest of my life it would be pizza (maybe pasta) but I think ribs are my all time favorite. Or any pork product. WAIT NO…DONUTS…I meant donuts.
color? I like blues, greens, mints and brown.
holiday? HALLOWEEN!!
It’s 8:00pm on a Friday night, what are you doing?
More than likely having dinner with Rob & Jess or watching shitty television shows.
Do you have any cool skills? Any skills you wish you had?
Not really? I would love to learn how to round house kick someone in the face though.
Do you have a pet? If so, what type of animal is it, and what’s its name?
Ellie! She is the coolest dog named after a paleobotanist you will ever meet.
What is something odd that fascinates you?
I guess it’s not that odd but I’m obsessed with true crime and criminal psychology. I love reading through crime stories trying to understand people and the justice system.
When and Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging back in 2010 after I decided I wanted to start a movie podcast. I somehow came across the now defunct Spill.com crew and just loved their energy. I thought it was something I could do myself and was confident I could rope a few friends into it as well.
What is your favorite genre of film? Least favorite?
I love comedies and horror/thriller. My least favorite would probably be Westerns or animated movies.
Is there a particular actor who you would see in a movie regardless of what the film is?
There are definitely actors that will increase a project’s visibility on my radar but I don’t know if there is one person that makes me instantly on board.
Do you refuse to watch any movie from a certain actor or director because of their behavior in their personal life?
Sort of. I don’t know if I will outright REFUSE to see something but I definitely take issue with certain writer/directors (*stares intensely at Woody Allen*)
Who is your favorite director?
“In Fincher I Trust” is the only tattoo I would ever consider getting.
Best decade for film?
The 70s! It was such an exciting time for the medium. Everyone was able to new techniques and ideas without a lot of concern for the profitability of the project, uninhibited by big budgets and parental advisories.
Any future blogging goals?
To write more? I know everyone says that. I want to keep exploring new ideas and find more time to devote to the growth of FTS.
