Curse of Chucky

Nate’s Two Cents?
For the last 20 years Chucky has strayed a bit from his origins and the last two installments were more comedies than they were anything. After disappearing for almost another decade finally the Chucky series returned, but instead went straight to DVD/Blu-ray which wasn’t a promising sign. But guess what? Chucky is back and the series has finally got a little pep back in it. They decided to take the series back to it’s horror roots and boy did they put on a good show. Chucky is back doing what he does best…killing everyone and being scary while doing it. It’s chock-full of witty one-liners that we’ve all come to expect and we get an amazing performance from Fiona Dourif, daughter of Chucky himself! Prepare for an enjoyable time and just wait till you see how they reconnect with us with some old friends. There is another amazing scene in the Unrated version that’s worth seeing as well but, not gonna spoil that. I highly recommend checking this out and word on the street is that there’s another film on the horizon so, fingers crossed. He’s Chucky, he’s your friend till the end!
