Hey all! Im so so so so so so sorry! Due to some really stressful circumstances I had to put everything blog related on hold for a while. I will have a new podcast up later this week, and then an another new one after that! Speaking of stressful times, the holiday season is here! And while everyone else is out shopping, movie goers are sure to be checking out this months hoiday fare. Here’s what’s out this DECEMBER

December 3th

Warrior’s Way

A weird genre/action flick mix that doesn’t seem too fantastic, but not really all that bad either.
Black Swan

Although it is only a limited release, Darren Aronofsky’s twisted psychological thriller makes it anticipated debut into theaters. I can’t wait to check out this movie, and am looking forward to how at Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis do in their roles.
December 10th
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

I’m the wrong person to ask about this one. I’ve never really had any interest in the franchise and the same goes for this trailer. The Tourist

Even with mega stars Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie this movie looks dull. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of chemistry between the leads and despite her best efforts, Jolie looks painfully skinny/structured and unattractive.

How Do You Know

This romcomdram from James L. Brooks appears to have some promising moments and a likable cast. My first impressions are pleased but I won’t speculate further, hoping to be pleasantly surprised.Tron Legacy

I have to admit, I have been very excited about this movie since I saw the first concept fx test trailer about a year and a half ago. I’m still pretty pumped for it to release and will surely be there opening night.

Yogi Bear

This looks just as bad as any other CGI-animal based film to come out recently. I’m intrigued to see if this movie is able to connect well with the kids.

December 22nd

Gulliver’s Travels

A story as old as the 1700’s, is having a new update with Jack Black. Yeah, this adaptation seems flat and unoriginal. I won’t be checking this out anytime soon.

Little Fockers

I couldn’t be more done with this series. There is a fun cast here but the jokes are so old and shouldn’t have been cycled after the first movie.

True Grit

Possibly the most exciting movie from this holiday’s season. I can’t wait to take a look at what the Coen brothers and this outstanding cast will be able to pull off.
