Kill Bill
A sure fire match to the new action thriller Haywire, Kill Bill is another film featuring a badass female protagonist and a noteworthy director. If you are interested in Haywire but need to stay in this week, trade in Soderberg for Tarantino and watch the always entertaining Kill Bill series on Blu Ray.
As one of our absolute favorite films from 2011, 50/50 is an easy recommendation for this week’s Blu Ray. The hilarious and heart wrenching film soars due to its honesty, genuine characters and believable performances. We strongly suggest picking up a copy or giving it a chance via rental.
If you’re looking for a good family film this week, Real Steel certainly offers up a lot of fun that will undoubtedly get the kids pumped up. The movie may not pull out any surprises in the plot department but it has an undeniable energy that seems to go over well with most age groups.
If you’re a Criterion collector, then this pick is for you. The latest to be added to the archive is the immense film from 1954 Godzilla. Criterion takes special care restoring the film to high definition quality and putting together tons of glorious special features.

TADVE is a horror comedy with a premise so deliciously clever you’ll be amazed no one as utilized it before. The film’s focus of cultural stereotyping might seem like a hard joke to sustain fora full feature film but the movie rises above it and seriously works. Lovable characters, hilarious gags and all around awareness of it’s genre help Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil become a seriously enjoyable Netflix treat.
