- The number one grossing movie of the Holiday Season/Month of December is Sherlock Holmes A Game Of Shadows, reeling in $89 mil domestically and $383 million worldwide (so far.)
- The fourth film of the series, Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol wowed the collective critics according to Rotten Tomatoes, pulling a 93% Fresh rating.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2continues high dvd/blu ray sales in December, making it the best selling dvd of the year.
