The Best on DVD & BluRay
COOTIES
Who’s in it?
Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, Leigh Whannell, Jack McBrayer
What’s it about?
“When a cafeteria food virus turns elementary school children into killer zombies, a group of misfit teachers must band together to escape the playground carnage. The film stars Elijah Wood (The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings), Rainn Wilson (“The Office”), and Alison Pill (“The Newsroom”) as teachers who fight to survive the mayhem while hilariously bickering in an uncomfortable love triangle on the worst Monday of their lives.” – Lionsgate Premiere
Nate’s Two Cents?
If you haven’t heard of this movie then now is the time. I was sold after seeing the trailer once. It really isn’t scary at any point but delivers in the laughs and fun department. Leigh Whannell helped write the movie and also plays a major character in the film who delivers some of the best lines of the film. If you’re looking for something fun to watch and like watching little kids tear people apart and eat them, then this is your cup of tea. Give it a watch this week!

A new comedy from the director of DRINKING BUDDIES.” – Magnolia PIctures
Nate’s Two Cents?
It’s beginning to slowly close in on Christmas so I figured why not start off December with a Christmas recommendation. Happy Christmas doesn’t have the happiest of subject matter, but if you like Joe Swanberg’s movies then you should highly enjoy this holiday feature. It can be a bit depressing at times but…the holidays can be that sometimes so it’s only fitting. Give it a whirl, and if you don’t like it and need to boost your spirits then there’s always Krampus hitting theatres this friday.

AMY
“Despite just two albums to her name Amy Winehouse is one of the biggest music icons in British history. With a voice oft described as a combination of Billy Holiday, Dinah Washington and Sarah Vaughan, Amy Winehouse was a pop star with soul; a once in two generational musical talent whose appeal crossed cultural and demographic boundaries. But while her music made her a star, her chaotic personal life stole headlines.”
