In the first round of our tournament we set up Stallone against Stallone forcing Rambo to fight Rocky. So who would win in a fight? Take a look at our character breakdowns and tell us who you think is the bigger badass.
Rocky [from the Rocky series]
Rocky balboa a.k.a the Italian Stallion. The man has considerable strength and determination. Not only can he make the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art his bitch, but he also makes a killer workout montage.
Strengths: Sheer brute force. Rocky has fists of iron and can really take a beating. On top of that he’s a southpaw so he throws off the timing of his opponents. Basically he eats lightning and craps thunder.
Weaknesses: Rocky never was too bright so don’t expect much more than just a beat down. He’s also not in the best shape and has to spend an abundance of time preparing for the fight. His age may be a factor as well, he’s been through a lot of fights and the wear is showing.
Rambo [from the Rambo series]
The story of Rambo, a badass supreme, can serve as a cautionary tale for us all: Don’t f**k with the crazy guy in the forest because he could easily take out your town’s whole police force. Like most of our badasses, Rambo doesn’t look for trouble, but that sure as hell doesn’t stop trouble from finding him.
Strengths: With honed skills he picked up in Vietnam, I feel a little sorry for anyone who goes up against this badass. He has a lot of weapons at his disposal and took down an entire Russian Army with a bow and arrow.
Weaknessess: John is somewhat emotionally vulnerable. He sufferers from issues that plagued him from being a POW.
