FTS Presents: The Ultimate Villain Tournament

Get ready film fans because it’s time for another exciting French Toast Sunday Bracket Tournament! You might remember last year’s Ultimate Badass Tournament where 32 of the biggest movie badasses faced off in a series of heated battles to answer the question “Who Would Win In A Fight?” This year we are back with an all new bracket tournament and you will have the opportunity to not only vote for a winner each round but also place bets on the overall tournament to win a few glorious prizes! So the big question is, are you ready for THE ULTIMATE MOVIE VILLAIN TOURNAMENT!? See how it works after the break!

The FTS team assembled a list of 32 of some of the biggest and baddest villains in movie history and then placed them into a single elimination tournament bracket. Every week day a new match up will be posted with a poll attached for everyone to vote on.

Each villain will be listed with their strengths and weaknesses. When voting, ask yourself ‘Which villain would win in a game of dastardly deeds?’

BEFORE EVERYONE FREAKS OUT: We purposefully did not include any of the big horror movie villains (Freddy, Jason, etc.) as well as villains with super/magical powers. We decided that those types of heavyweight movie villains would compete on a completely separate level so we kept them out of this particular contest. All of the villains chosen for this bracket are human and have flaws/vulnerabilities.

Click on the link provided above to download your bracket. Then you can fill it out by choosing the villain that you predict will win each match up in the bracket. Included with the bracket are five tie breaker questions that you must answer.

Once you complete your bracket, email it to lindsay@frenchtoastsunday.com . After verifying that the bracket is filled out in full, Lindsay will send you a confirmation email letting you know that you are officially signed up.

The deadline for sign up is January 4th, 2014 so get cooking!

1. For each match-up, select which villain you think will win the most votes. Continue through the bracket until a champion has been crowned.
2. Points per round are scored: 1-2-4-8-12, with a possible total of 76 points available.
3. For the tie-breaker, please answer the 5 questions provided with the bracket. One point for will be rewarded for each correct response.
4. Voting fraud will not be tolerated (and will be policed by FTS) but we do encourage everyone to promote the contest as much as possible.
5. Brackets MUST be turned in by January 4th, 2014
6. Each match-up will be open for at least two weeks of voting.
7. One entry per person.
