    I had missed the last few podcasts for various reasons so I just got done catching up. More great work from you all! There were several moments that had me laughing in a way that made me look ridiculous around my coworkers.

    I don’t really have anything to add as far as the lists go but I did want to comment about some of the shows you were discussing. First, I totally agree with Nick about 30 Rock. Couldn’t get into it. Now admittedly that probably had a lot to do with a personal vendetta I hold against a certain actor on that show… (Alec Baldwin, you son of a bitch.)

    Second, I really enjoyed the Wet Hot American Summer series. Paul Rudd’s entrance in the first episode absolutely slayed me. It was just all so wonderfully dumb.

    And last, I also enjoyed season 2 of True Detective. Not as much as you all from the sounds of it, but I thought it got way too much unnecessary hate. It was really well made and had fantastic performances from the main cast. I did personally like season 1 more for a couple reasons. I am more fascinated by serial killer stories. (Boy that reads bad. I swear I’m a normal guy.) I just think I’m fascinated with what makes someone that evil and twisted. I also thought the setting of New Orleans gave the first season a fantastic combination of mysterious beauty and dread. Plus that one six minute tracking shot at the end of episode four was just mind blowing television. I do also think the general public was kind of lost this season because there wasn’t a clear villain for them to be rooting against. The first season had everyone talking about the Yellow King and trying to figure out who he was. Where as season 2 had a much broader villain. In my opinion at least. Maybe I missed something.

    Anyway, keep up the great work! (I don’t expect you to actually read this on the podcast due to it being unnecessarily long. Just wanted to throw in my two cents.)
