Hey everybody, long time no talk. You’re looking good, did you lose weight? Get a new haircut? Whatever it is, it’s working for you. I’ve been doing well, thanks for asking.
Enough with the bull, it’s clear I’m buttering you up before an apology. The last Coffee Break post I put out was back in March and since then I’ve even had a few people ask me where the feature had been hiding. My lack of posting wasn’t because I didn’t have anything to share -I’ve been busy in the off time. And it wasn’t that I stopped enjoying the feature. It was, in fact, quite the opposite. Coffee Break started out as a way to share more personal, behind the scenes info about my life. I couldn’t always relate the feature to film and slowly it seemed like I was just posting photos of what I had been up to since I last wrote. Now that I’ve been keeping up with the (bi) weekly resolutions posts, it’s even harder to find a film to write about in Coffee Break that I don’t already talk about on that series or in a review or on the podcast. So I thought to myself: “Why not just make this a separate blog?” I know, I always complain about not having enough time but if I’m doing it anyways I might as well do it right.
Enter Coffee Break Travel. Together with my partner Jason, I’m going to start working on a new blog project. The site’s focus is our travels and other life events. This is a more personal endeavor than FTS and it won’t be updated nearly as frequently. Hopefully, it will be a fun way for Jason and I to share our experiences with everyone.
Coffee Break Travel doesn’t have much to do with movies but it is an offshoot of the feature that started here on FTS. If you enjoyed catching up on my personal going ons, go ahead and check out the new site. I’m looking forward to starting something new but also hopefully seeing some familiar faces!

P.S. I’m still running & writing French Toast Sunday. I don’t know if that was made clear in the post but I’m not going anywhere, I’m just adding to my plate. I plan to resurrect The Gore Report feature as well so I have a steady feature running again!
