Robert Redford stars in the upcoming release All Is Lost, a film that has been recieving all kinds of buzz thanks to it’s lead performer. All is Lost is already receiving rave reviews from critics. Rotten Tomatoes has the film listed at 94% with the consensus “Anchored by another tremendous performance in a career full of them, All Is Lost offers a moving, eminently worthwhile testament to Robert Redford’s ability to hold the screen.” Take a look at the trailer and synopsis below:

    After recently breaking up with his girlfriend, John Gallagher Jr. wanders through the woods carrying only his acoustic guitar. Communicating almost entirely through song, he wonders if he should rekindle their romance, or move ahead to another seductive enchantress.

    At the end of the second act, he stumbles upon the end of the woods and finds a robot village. The robots speak only in beeps and other noises, all of which will be created by Ben Burtt, so we won’t need any other actors. When John Gallagher Jr. discovers their evil plan to turn both of the girls he’s interested in into slave robots, he must use his musical powers to defeat them and save the woman, or women, he loves.

    Directorial Debut of Orland Bloom, and written by Futurama’s Ken Keeler, the movie will go onto be a massive hit that will make audiences around the world forget about Cast Away. Armond White will write a review claiming the story is an allegory for the AIDS epidemic of the 80’s and 90’s. Unfortunately, this will be the only positive review on RottenTomatoes, as the rest are mixed at best, proving once again that critics have no clue what actual people want from their movies.
