Hey guys, Lindsay here, just checking in with some brief details about this past weekend Baltimore Comic-Con. [image courtesy of http://baltimorecomiccon.com]
Once a year Baltimore hosts it’s own Comic convention in downtown Baltimore, displaying great comic artists, costume contests and tons of fantastic artwork. This year’s guest of honor was Stan Lee!! Too exciting.
For me the best part of the Baltimore Comic-Con is the art. There are so many great prints, paintings and creations to buy, including great stuff that isn’t limited to comics. Some of my favorite print artists were back again this year, including Dave Perillo, Tom Whalen and Scott Derby, as well as a really awesome local apparel company Spaghetti Kiss. But my big swag find this year came from Geekboy Press. He had loads of really fun prints at super great prices. See what I bought below and check out his online store for a whole lot more. Oh, and this guy does commissions too!
I picked up this Big Lebowski poster for Rob |
I almost considered this Paul poster for Rob but I liked too much that I had to keep it for myself! |
My favorite of the day! Geekboy actually told me this Rushmore print was a commission he did. |
Jason scooped up this cool Shaun of the Dead print. |
Jess is a huge Veronica Mars fan, so naturally this went to her. |
Visit Geekboy Press website or go straight to the store.
