The Ultimate Villain Tournament is a bracket style competition that pits movie villain against movie villain. In this match up, we look at two very notable villains from recent years. Which baddie would be able to pull off his/her villainous scheme? Take a look at our character breakdowns and tell us who you think is the bigger threat.
The best Villains are the ones who know how the other side works, they understand the forces that oppose them and act accordingly. What makes Det. Alonzo so diabolical is that with his knowledge of the law and his daily interactions with the criminal element puts him in a position to do some real damage. Alonzo’s biggest strength is his badge, this lends him a great deal of authority over criminals and gets him the trust of his colleagues.
Strengths: Powerful within law enforcement; ruthless.
Weaknesses: His power relies on mainly on his ability to intimidate, if one were to no longer feel bullied by the detective it could spell curtains for him.
Cool. Calm. Powerful. These are only a few words that describe Agent Smith. On top of being equipped with extraordinary reflexes in hand to hand combat, Smith can take his opponent and morph them into a clone of himself, absorbing all their memories and abilities. Agent Smith can definitely go the distance in the tournament, but whatever you do, don’t mention Mr. Anderson, he’s still pretty sensitive about that.
Strengths: Fast; skilled in various forms of fighting; Has the ability to clone himself
Weaknesses: As he absorbs more people he becomes more unhinged, shedding off that cool demeanor he’s known for.
