Now it’s getting tricky. The Ultimate Badass Tournament continues and we ask you, would win in a fight, Darth Vader or Ellen Ripley? Take a look at our character breakdowns and tell us who you think is the bigger badass.
Darth Vader [from the Star Wars series]
Ruler of the Darkside, master of the force, I think his reputation speaks volumes about his badassness.
Strengths: Vader is a master of the force. He could defeat his enemies from a distance with force chokes or up close with a lightsaber. Skilled in fighting with sword-like weapons and lasers.
Weaknesses: Vader has to rely on his suit to assist in breathing. If a contender could malfunction his suit, Vader could be severely weakened.
Ripley [from the Aliens series]
Ellen Ripley is one of the greatest female badasses of all time. She continues to come back and fend off the super competitors in three separate Alien films.
Strengths: Never to be defined by the men around her, Ripley is a strong leader and will do what needs to be done in order to defeat her opponent. She is strong physically but is skilled in weaponry as well.
Weaknessess: She may be only human (well…) but she does keep coming back. Regardless, she can be killed like any average human could be.
