Pointing you in the direction of some of the day’s most interesting article/pictures/videos/websites/etc
- FTS is partaking in some drunken movie trivia during this week’s podcast before seeing Piranhas 3D! This article goes deeper into what you can expect and honestly makes me pretty excited to see how the movie matches the promise of being “the goriest movie in history” with a “tongue-in-cheek script.” READ: Fishy Business: The behind-the-scenes story of the ‘Piranha’ movies
- Most of FTS has gone gaga for Scott Pilgrim which a few of us have already seen twice. All the characters, from Scott Pilgrim and Ramona, to their friends and the evil ex’s really stand out on their own. One such character would be Lucas Lee, played by the forever hilarious/beefy Chris Evans. These fake posters show the movies Lee has starred in from SPvsTW and are based on some recognizable designs. - Last week on the FTS podcast our list was Top 3 Fictional Movie Bands. You’d imagine my delight when coming across this list of the Top 10 same things! Both of our lists include The Soggy Bottom Boys, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and The Oneders. READ: Ten Movie Bands We Wish Were Real and listen to our latest podcast here
- Lately Lindsay and I have begun focusing our movie attention on the fall. This trailer is for the British movie, Monsters, which will have a limited release in the U.S. October 29th. Not much is shown of the monsters which suits me just fine–the less I see now the bigger the surprise later (except with that one movie Primeval, you know that was about a croc right?!) but the fact that this movie had a $15,000 budget and looks this nice is enough to peak my interest. - FTS loves Netflix so this Tumblr may come quite in handy. “Fun Things on the Netflix Stream Thingy” may be a questionable blog title, but it definitely has some great content. Each post gives some brief info on some gems you might not find otherwise. VISIT: NetflixStream.tumblr.com
