It’s new Movie Drinking Game time! Movie Drinking games are tailored to a specific movie and generally consist of taking a drink or shot every time something is said or shown on screen. Here at French Toast Sunday, we want to give you guys a little something extra for your movie experience. Enjoy and movie-drink responsibly!
See if you can solve the mystery of who killed whom in where and with what before getting too drunk to count how many shots where fired from the gun.
- Someone smells dog mess
- It’s explained that communism is just a red herring.
- Someone says J. Edgar Hoover
- You hear/see thunder/lightning
- Mr. Green is slapped.
- A gun is shot
- Mr. Green spills food or drink.
- Something is spoke in unison
- The lights get turned off.
- “To make a long story short…” is said, DRINK before it’s too late!
- The doorbell rings
- The duration of time Mrs. Peacock screams until Mr. Green/Wadsworth slaps her.

CLUE was an unlikely pioneer in theatrical distribution when it was released in 1985. Depending on what theatre you went to, you would see a different ending. When the film was released on home video, all three endings were available and Comedy Central always had this film on. Listed below are the rules for taking shots along with three additional rules you can swap with the beer rules. I recommend Brandy or Cognac for shots. But let someone try the cognac first, just in case.
- Wadsworth offers fruit or… dessert.
- A chandelier falls
- A gun is shot
- The lights are turned off
- It’s explained that communism is just a red herring
